Most from Germany, 2nd half 19th cent. Mounted in an otherwise unrelated manuscript cashbook (covering many entries) w. manuscript label "Waisenhaus Rechnung pro 1855" on front cover. Marbled boards. Folio. Added: A collection of over 1300 stamped/ printed church seals. Most 20th cent. but also w. earlier wax or paper specimens. Seals from Germany (most of the collection), Sweden, Poland and a few other countries. All mounted on loose A4 sheets and w. modern descriptions (occas. w. extra documentation).
