Set of 12 b/w pictures documenting two stanley brouwn actions in Amsterdam in 1964. Recent prints, 15 x 21.5 cm, with copyright stickers of the Dutch photographer on verso.

Comprises: (1) Nine pictures of the project 'this way brouwn' in which the artist asked passersby to draw directions on a sheet of paper which he then stamped 'this way brouwn'. (2) Three pictures of an Anonymous Action in the shopwindow of antiquariat/gallery Amstel 47. The performance featured the artist with a paper bag on his head, sticking wads of newspaper to the window and attempting to split a shoe with an axe, while passersby looked on. Mint copies.
