Den Bosch, European Ceramics Work Centre (EKWC), 2003/2009. Glazed porcelain, stamped 'Maastricht Porselein 006 Holland' and 'EKWC' on verso, 14 x 14 x 8 cm. Sculpture of a small white plate displaying a giant profiterole covered in a layer of glossy chocolate, a signature pastry from Den Bosch.

Originally designed in 2003 for the project 'Dutch souvenirs' organized by the European ceramics work centre (EKWC) in which 40 artists conceived contemporary souvenirs. This copy derives from a 2009 non-commercial production made as a farewell gift for Koos de Jong, director of the EKCW. In excellent condition.
