Rolled, sl. browning, a few tiny holes and some marginal imperfections. A good copy of this rare print. Van Gelder was both born in Amst. and worked in the city as a printer before immigrating to New York in the 1860s. He produced at least 5 different Mizrachs in this unique micrographic style. This example deals w. Rosh HaShana, w. quotes from prayers and bible verses, allegorical illustrations and the signs of the Zodiac.
