Two rubber stamp catalogues published by Artpool, Budapest
(1) Everybody with Anybody, February 1982. Plastic bag with title sticker, 22 x 15 cm, contains a collection of approx. 70 sheets of different size and stock. Features printed b/w photo documentation and artists' contributions related to the Artist’s rubber stamps competition at the Young Artists’ Club, Budapest (APS No.11). This was an unusual exhibition with artists' stamps and ink blocks hanging on red strings in the center of the room, the audience was meant to stamp all surrounding walls. Catalogue stamped and numbered 97/300 by Galántai.
(2) Stamp and Rubberstamp: World Art Post, use the stamps in your work, March 1982. Artists' assembling catalogue for an Artpool event featuring 22 Hungarian artists. Stamped cardboard folder, 17 x 15 cm, list of content printed in interior. Contains one cream sheet for each artist showing a collaged postal stamp and one rubber stamp. One sheet has a stapled blue vinyl wrap and paint additions. Stamped and numbered 10/125 by Galántai. Light wear to sleeve, one sheet dog-eared. Both catalogues rare and in very good condition.
