'S.F.' Zondekamertjes (Casinogeheimen)

This book is unrecorded, no copies known to us in any public or private collection. In 1906 Van Klaveren, Amsterdam published another 'Zondekamertjes' by S.F. which appears to be an erotic novel with a different storyline. This Zondekamertjes was probably also considered scandalous as it exposes the Royalty and has a.o. emperor Wilhelm II, Franz Joseph I and countess Pauline von Metternich as protagonists. Around 1907 Wilhelm was involved in the Hardenberg-Eulenburg affaire and there is a slight hint to his alleged homosexuality at the end of the novel: 'Keizer Wilhelm en Frans Josef kusten elkander herhaaldelijk en met een innigheid, die duidelijk bewees, dat ze niet alleen aan een vorm wenschten te voldoen.'
