Includes: (1) Catalogue edited and designed by Henk Peeters, introducing the artists of the group with ills. of their work, published in conjunction with the exhibition 'Holländische Informelle Gruppe' at Galerie Gunar in Dusseldorf, 1959. Edition of 500. (2) Rare announcement and price list for the exhibition at G58, Hessenhuis Antwerp 14 May-4 June 1960, featuring the Dutch Informal Group and the New Vision Group from London. (3) Two issues of Art Actuel International (No.14 & No.16, 1960) featuring articles about the 'nouvelle école européenne' which also comprised the Dutch group.
(4) Five sheets with exhibition program of the group in 1960-1961, some with Dutch Informal stamps and handwritten notes by Peeters. (5) Invitation card 'Holländische Informelle Gruppe' at galerie Wriss Kassel, 1960. (6) Invitation card Groupe Informel Hollandais, Galerie Kasper Lausanne, 1960. (7) Invitation card 'Neue Holländische Tendenzen', Galerie Wulfengasse, Klagenfurt and Galerie Carette Glücksburg, 1962. All items derive from the archive of Henk Peeters and are in fine condition. The Dutch Informal Group (1958-1961), preceded the formation of the Nul group. Its members consisted of Armando, Henk Peeters, Jan Schoonhoven, Jan Henderikse and Kees van Bohemen. The group replaced the expression of emotions in paint with an attempt at an absence of 'personal signature'.
