Marinus Boezem, Weather map, Thursday, September 26, 1968
Paper, offset printed both sides, 33.5 x 24.5 cm. With stamp and signature by Boezem on the lower right section. Boezem mailed these copies of the official weather chart, as drawn up by the Dutch Royal Meteorological Institute on Thursday, September 26, 1968, to members of the international art community.
In Art & Project bulletin No.29, designed by the artist, he mentions sending it to 'thousands of people' but this is probably overstated. The image of the Weather Map was used on the cover of the legendary exhibition 'Op Losse Schroeven', which took place at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam in 1969. Very good copy.
