Reykjavik/Amsterdam, Silver Press, 1972. Exquisite and extremely rare book object, signed and numbered by the artist. Softcover, 26.4 x 27.2 x 2.2 cm. Offset printed in a limited edition of 150 signed and numbered copies, this one numbered 17/150, hand bound by the artist. The book was self-published by Gudmundsson's Silver Press. As the production was very time consuming, probably no more than 30- 50 copies were made (ref: Kees van Gelder, Amsterdam). In 1982 Ottenhausen Verlag in Aachen and Munich published a follow up limited edition of 100 copies.

The immense artists' book (more than 600 pp.) features full page drawings of multiple horizontal lines throughout. The length of all lines added up together indicate the distance between the highest point on earth and the lowest point in the sea. Light corners bumps, generally a very good copy.
