Black cloth hardcover, 41 x 32.5 x 2 cm, approx. 400 pp. Large format artists' book with full page xerox-type images, featuring designs for various tools to clean or smoke fish, such as feathers, barbecues, smoke ovens, as well as sketches and reproductions of works from 1975 to 1978.

The opening page reads 'During the last four years I made fishermens medicaments and photographs of catching and cleaning processes. I designed smoke ovens and barbecues'. The book also presents documentation related to Giezen's project for the Venice Biennale in 1978 (representing The Netherlands), a collaborative endeavour with Venetian fishermen. Extremely rare publication by Dutch artist Krijn Giezen (1939 - 2011), pioneer in Ecological and Conceptual art. In very good state.
