Daniel Buren, Les Couleurs Traversées: Arbeiten vor Ort. Deluxe catalogue multiple

Cologne/Bregenz, Walther König/Kunsthaus Bregenz, 2001. Published in conjunction with the exhibition in Kunsthaus Bregenz 27 January - 18 March 2001. Limited edition catalogue of 80 numbered and monogrammed copies, contained in a plexiglas slipcase and wooden construction designed by Buren.

This is copy 49/80, with black taped stripes on white plexiglas plate recto, and a monochrome red plexiglas plate verso. Apparently the plates were cut out of works from the exhibition, and are all different. Slipcase: 38 x 31 x 2.5 cm. Catalogue: Spiral bound, 30 x 22 cm, 32 pp. Text in German. Designed by Buren. The regular version appeared in an edition of 1100, for the deluxe version extra items were added including 5 foil works and 2 mirror foils. Very good copy.
