Fine copy. A collection of 41 beautiful chromo-lithographs of different horse breeds produced after paintings by the famous Groninger animal painter Eerelman (1839-1926). The lithographs resemble oil paintings, thanks to a very expensive printing procedure which gives the surface of the prints an oily expression. Each lithography accompanied by a 4 page descriptive text printed on laid paper. A list of subscribers is added to this copy. Rare.
