The Dordrecht Synod, a national ecclesiastical meeting of the Dutch Reformed Church and foreign Reformed churches, took place in Dordrecht from 13 November 1618 to 9 May 1619. The doctrinal rules formulated are directed against the Remonstrants, who were unanimously condemned at the synod because their teaching was not in accordance with the Bible.
