Approx. 40 maps from 1944, possibly used during WWII's New Guinea campaign. Maps of a.o. Domandi, the Paie River, Kelapa, the Moaif River and Besar Island. All marked "War Department Corps of Engineers U.S. Army" and "Preliminary sheet, Subject to correction". All approx. 57 x 50 cm.

Folded, some sm. defects (browned, sm. tears). Interesting collection of maps of a now almost forgotten WWII campaign. (total approx. 40)
