Topographical views, collection of 40

17th-19th cent. Var. sizes (also very large prints) and techniques, incl. nicely handcol. views. A varied collection, comprising a.o.: (1) "Aussicht von Klein-gegen gross-Pechlarn an der Donau." Handcol. etched view by C. Schallhas (1767-1797), 25 x 40.5 cm. Torn and creased in margins. (2) "Die Fähre zu Brooklyn in Neu-York". Handcol. lithogr., 15 x 20 cm, dated 1840 above the image. (3) "Village Cochinchinois". Contemp. handcol. aquatint on chine-collé, 22 x 32 cm, by Himely after Lauvergne, ca. 1820. Also present in the lot are views of Penang (large handcol. view), Ranjowangui, Calcutta, Madura, Caunpore, Moscow, San Domingo, Paris, Landrecy (nice profile view) and Gibraltar.

Sold as a collection of prints, some in mediocre condition, not subject to return. (total approx. 40)
