[Trams] NVBS. Nederlandse Vereniging van Belangstellenden in het Spoor- en Tramwezen

Collection of approx. 185 printed technical cross sections (incl. some explanatory lvs) of trams of 27 Dutch local companies, issued by the NVBS, 1956-1972, loosely inserted in portfolio w. alphabetical thumb-index. A large collection of very precisely executed cross sections of trams of a.o. Stoomtr. Mij. Oldambt-Pekela, Eerste Drentsche Stoomtramweg-Maatschappij, N.V. Spoorw. Mij. Zwolle-Blokzijl, Gemeente Electrische Tram Arnhem, Noord-Zuid Hollandsche Tramweg Mij. (var. lines), G.B.H.T.M., Rotterdamsche Tramweg Mij. etc. The NVBS was founded in 1931 and still exists, today with over 4000 members. Also loosely inserted in the portfolio are 3 fold. lvs w. very detailed cross sections of model trains ("spoor 0, schaal 1:45") in white on a blue background, incl. one by W.J. Dijkshoorn (70 x 94 cm, dated "Overschie, Jan. '44"), and also 4 different orig. photogr. of "Benzinemotorrijtuig Serie 2-9" w. stamp of Werkspoor Utrecht verso.
