(1) Album of approx. 80 mounted photos, ca. 1890. Most albumen views of Italian cities such as Rome, Geneva, Napoli, Florence, Venice, Milan and Lugano, and of Roman ruins. Hmorocco binding w. gilt monogram "E.S." (Sims), a.e.g., obl. folio. W. loosely inserted orig. invoice in pen of the binder S. Warren (Ipswich), to "Miss Sims St. Matthews" and loosely inserted modern annotation mentioning names of photographers Neurdeim, Brogi, Sommer, Maya and A. Lindahl. Binding rubbed/ worn along extremities. -and 2 similar late 19th cent. albums, one mainly w. views of European cities (total approx. 140), the other w. 16 views of Norway by K. Knudsen (1832-1915).
