Aquatint from the series Die Bonbonnière, 1907, 22.3 x 20.3 cm, w. vague number 5/10 and (orig.?) signature and date '30 in lower blank margin. Sm. tear in lower blank margin, otherwise a good copy w. ample margins. The authenticity of the pencil annotations could not be verified. To hide his true identity, Ranzenhofer used the pseudonym Emil Sartori for this series of extremely explicit erotic prints, a counterpart of a similar series of prints by Franz von Bayros. Ranzenhofer is better known for his poster designs. -and 7 plates under passepartout after Ernst Deutsch Dryden (1887-1938) and 1 other after Wilhelm Wagner (1887-1968) (w. defects).
