[Underground press] Berkeley Barb
Near-complete run of this famous and influential American underground newspaper. Nos. 1-216 (vol. 1 - 9), 1965-1969, only lacking 6 issues (4, 9, 20 - 21, 80 & 163). Also incl. vol. 1 no. 1 of 'Barb on Strike' (only one publ. w. this title) and 17 issues of the Berkeley Tribe. The Tribe was published by a breakaway group of Berkeley Barb collaborators that opposed the general editor Scheer, who was running the journal for his personal gain rather than its original principles.
One clipping in no. 103. Rare to find such an extensive run of this newspaper in such good condition. (total 228)
