Carnet de bal of silver with cloisonné decoration

Probably French, ca. 1850, 9,5 x 6.5 cm, front cover w. central oval miniature in gouache depicting a couple, framed behind glass, surrounded by rich cloisonné borders, back cover w. intricate cloisonné decoration, silk lining and pocket, w. loosely inserted silver stylus. Lacks a number of sm. portions of enamel, silk waterst. and dam., without further contents. Added: children's armband, probably silver, w. cloisonné decoration and the word "souvenir".
