F.G. Lebbing was a delicacy store specialising in fine meats, located in Amsterdam and situated at Prinsengracht 807. The ledger provides a highly detailed insight on the financial situation of the store. It also lists the names of many customers and suppliers, making it a noteworthy historical document for life in Amsterdam at the beginning of the 19th century. Shortly after the book's last entry, the store was renovated by J.F. Staal (1879-1940) and A.J. Kropholler (1882-1973).
