Jansz, Anthonie Wouter (1879-1958). Travel account

Recounts the journey that Jansz (a Dutch architect and teacher who worked in Indonesia) took with his family, 18 May 1924 - 15 June 1928; the travels started and ended in Djokjakarta. Documents visits to Indonesian "tjandi's" (temples) and their details, incl. sm. drawings of floor plans and profiles, written in a "Duplicate Book" and ending on leaf 82, recto only, w. loosely inserted or mounted related documents such as receipts, postcards and (carbon copies of) letters by or addressed to A.W. Jansz, together in orig. cl. w. "Reisboek" in pen on front cover, sm. 4to.
