[Architecture] Photo album containing 20 photographs

Recording the construction of houses at and near Van Gogstraat in Reeuwijk-Brug, 1957-1959, des. by Gerrit Rietveld, incl. 14 mounted photos measuring 9 x 14 cm (portrait and landscape) and 6 loose photos measuring 7.5 x 7.5 cm, and loose additional items concerning the houses, contemp. rexine, obl. folio. Printed on upper pastedown: "Dit album wordt u aangeboden door de Newomij N.V. Nederlandsche Woningfinanciering-Mij. (...) en N.V. Coördinatie-Bouw (...)." Interesting album, apart from the photos ("foto's huis in aanbouw met G. Rietveld") also containing loosely inserted orig. material such as the fold. flyer "Wonen in het watersportcentrum Reeuwijk" and 4 pages of typescript information "Korte omschrijving betreffende de bouw van 92 moderne middenstandswoningen aan en in de omgeving van de van Goghstraat te Reeuwijk" (1959). Also w. partial floor plans in pen, private annotations and newspaper articles/ clippings concerning the building project.
