[Catchpenny prints] Deligence-spel

Contemp. handcol. catchpenny print, 39 x 48 cm, signed "A.H. Binger" (Aron Hijman Binger) in lower right corner, w. letterpress rules of the game below the image, Amst., Rokin 135, H. Moolenyzer (active 1792-1847, 1831-1842 on the Rokin), framed under passepartout.

A bit browned, not examined outside the frame. Very rare. Buijnsters, Papertoys: speelprenten en papieren speelgoed in Nederland (1640-1920), p. 265. A very nice game, showing the route of a stagecoach, w. indication of the places en route, such as "Posthuis N.1", "Uitgaande poort", "Frisse paarden", "Bedelaar", "Kerkhof", "Welkom in stad", "Douanerie" and "Hoefsmit".
