Sl. dam. around the edges and mild warping. *Throughout the 1930s Rodechenko worked closely with the renowned Russian poet Vladimir Mayakovsky, of whom he made several portraits. The present photograph was part of the traveling exhibition '20 Soviet Photographers 1917-1940' and was printed from the original negative under the supervision of Grigory Chudakov, editor-in-chief of Sovietskoje Foto.
