Ca. 1855. Presumably an albumenised salt print that has subsequently been colored. Mounted on cardboard, image approx. 19 x 24 cm, mount 26 x 35 cm. Under passe-partout. Handwritten caption in pencil, likely 'Pardubice', a Czech city renowned for its annual horse racing event, the Velká Pardubická steeplechase.

Dam. in the margins recto and verso, not affecting the print. Some subtle surface scuffs, but overall good condition.
