Jan Voss, born in 1945, is a German artist residing in Amsterdam. Since 1986, he has co-operated Boekie Woekie, an artist-run bookstore. Voss was a student at the Dusseldorf Academy of Fine Arts, studying under Dieter Roth in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The creation of artists' books has become a significant element of his multimedia practice.
