Japan, probably first half 19th cent., total measuring 450 x 22 cm, w. a series of illustrations in black pen and col. gouache on attached paper lvs, w. captions in Japanese characters, rolled on a wooden stick and w. protective woven silk brocade at end of the scroll w. tie.
