Milan Knizak, Czech artist in Prague sentenced for 2 years in prison!

Mimeographed artists' magazine protesting against the prison sentence of Milan Knizak, edited by Wolfgang Feelisch and Archiv Sohm. With introduction by Albrecht D., various documents including letters of support by Allan Kaprow, Harald Szeemann, E. de Wilde et al, as well as texts by the artist himself.

Milan Knizak (b. 1940) is a Czech performance artist, musician, and founder of the Aktual artist group. In 1965 Maciunas promoted him to Director of Fluxus East, after which he organized the Fluxus concert in Prague and participated in various Fluxus happenings. He was arrested by the Czech communist authorities in February 1973 oue to his artwork being deemed anti-socialist and pornographic. Mint copy.
