A bit yellowed and w. creased/ (vague) folds. Not examined outside the frame. One of the so-called warrior triptychs, see B.W. Robinson, Kuniyoshi: The Warrior Prints (1982), T134. The scene depicts Yoshitsune, Benkei and Yoshimori listening to the report of two ama (female divers), mother and daughter, named Oimatsu and Wakamatsu, who had tried to recover the sacred sword of the regalia from the sea floor after the battle of Dan-no-ura in 1185.
