[Corporal punishment] 18th-century "Schoolklap"

Forged copper, so-called "schoolklap". Oval flat disc with round handle and double-knot ending. Used by teachers to flog students who did not comply.

Very rare in copper, just a few other examples known; most were made of wood, and burned in the 19th century after they were banned.
