Toonder, M. Panda Comics

Birn Brothers, 1949. In excellent condition. An extremely collectable and hard to find comic book. Added: Several letters, incl. correspondence among Dave Giacardi, Harry Hargraveaves and Marten Toonder that were provided to Matla. Toonder mentions in his letter that 'The full colour Panda comics were indeed drawn by me, in the time before Harry Hargreaves had a hand in it. I have only one copy of it left, and I'm very sorry but I won't sell it'. Giacardi did obtain a copy in the end, and he did not part from it lightly. In the words of Matla: 'The price is high, but I think it is the only way to get a copy, so it must be worth it. And the copy is near mint'.
