Late 19th cent. Almost all approx. 20 x 25 cm and mounted on thick paper, 31 x 41 cm. Most images of Venice, but also some of Florence, Milan and Pisa. Added: a few prints of Paris and Versailles (France), Innsbruck (Austria), Antwerp (Belgium), Nuremberg and Munich (Germany). Most topographical views of tourist sites or photos of pieces of art (paintings, statues, etc.). Photographs by a.o. C. Naya, V.-A. Bruckmann, Anderson and Brogi. The greater part is titled and attributed in the negative, many w. manuscript captions/ notes verso. Loose in 2 unif. purple cl. portfolios (some wear, 1 w. flap detached) w. gilt initials 'M.J.'. 36 x 44 cm.
