The volvelles for the ills. on pages 74-75 and the volvelle plate outside collation opposite p. 280 have never been set in place in the present copy, as in other copies traced. Some browning/ foxing/ staining, minuscule wormholes and minor other imperfections, w. manuscript "Ex libris collegii Longobardorum" on first free endpaper. An old manuscript annotation in French on upper pastedown, states that the author (1523-1590) died unexpectedly in his library because a bookcase fell on him.
