*The chromolithographs are from the well-known German series in "Kaufmann format" (approx. 10.5 x 7 cm). They were happily shared among many small Dutch companies such as Aurora for whom investing in an album with self-designed cards and a unique story was not a financially viable option. Therefore, these companies often issued albums from other companies as their own, as was done here; the original German title print and the company's own advertisement are still present, on the verso of the cards.
