Hloušek, Rudolf. (1909-1992). Five handcut glass objects: (1) Vase

Purple glass, height 19 cm, Czech Republic, 1930s. (2) Flower shaped bowl. Citrine glass, diameter 24 and height 11.5 cm, Czech Republic, 1930s. A few tiny chips at the points. -and 3 other cut glass items by Hloušek.

Hloušek started working w. glass at the specialized school in Železný Brod, Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic), in 1924. He started his own business in 1930. He won the Grand Prix at the World Exhibition in Brussels, in 1935. (total 5)
