Lacquered tobacco box
Late 19th cent., 6 x 9 x 2 cm, the hinging lid w. painting of a nude lady in bed w. her dog, the inside of the box w. the word "Fidèle" and the address "Stobmassers Tabak Braunschweig" (?) in gold paint. A very refined erotic image. The box stores 29 miniature photographic portraits of mostly women.
