Very rare and hardly ever offered for sale, this nice prospectus of 32 articles of association of the Dutch Whaling-Company, for shareholders. The company, operating under a government granted monopoly, was founded by Coenraad Brandligt who joined forces with the merchant house Van Marselis. Articles 4 and 5 show that the starting resources of the company were set on 600.000 guilders, to be established by shares of 1000 guilders each.
