Complete w. chair and rolling paper w. 25 educational plates, several of which were designed by Bess Bruce Cleaveland (1876-1966). Dimensions of the desk (when unfolded): 104 x 42 x 55 cm, chair dimensions: 32 x 38 x 19 cm. In good condition.
Chautauqua was a 19th-cent. U.S. movement focused on popular education and social enrichment. Theodore Roosevelt famously described it as ‘the most American thing in America’.
