Lairesse, Gerard de (1641-1711). Eight various etchings: (1) (The sacrifice of Polyxena)

Etching, 30 x 39 cm, signed "Gerardus Lairesse inventor, fecit et excudit Amstelodami", mounted at upper margin. A few folds, sm. restored spot in upper margin and some stains. (2) (Spare the vanquished). Etching, 31 x 20.5 cm, signed "G. Lairess. inv. et sculpsit Amstelodami" in lower blank margin, mounted at upper margin. A few smoothed-out folds, narrow margins. -and 6 others by or after De Lairesse (2x by J. Glauber), one other print by Glauber after Poussin, and 4 prints by Jan de Bisschop (1628-1671), after Michelangelo, Jacob Matham a.o. The lot includes 10 prints w. collector's mark of Christiaan Kramm (1797-1875) (Lugt L.581) on verso.
