Year 1 of this very - if not extremely - rare satirical, liberal weekly periodical, OCLC only mentions a copy in the Erfgoedbibliotheek Hendrik Conscience, published up to year 1859. Baes Kimpe was a folk character from Ghent and a symbol of frankness and boldness. The 9 prints (a few on yellow paper) and the song were originally separately circulated. Ex-libris.
