Added is a sheet containing 3 b/w pictures showing Buffet Picabia signing 'Aires abstraites' for Gerard Stigter, Betty van Garrel and Philip Mechanicus who visited her in 1977 in conjunction with an article for Hollands Diep. Provenance: collection K. Schippers. Gabrielle Buffet-Picabia (1881- 1985) was a French art critic and writer, and Francis Picabia's first wife. Her essays reveal a strong relationship with Dadaism and other radical forms of twentieth-century art. (total 2)
