The Tui bei tu, first composed in the 7th-century, is considered the most influential Chinese work of prophecy and has frequently been compared to the writings of the western prophet Nostradamus. Once banned by the Chinese Communist Party, it regained popularity following the lifting of the ban in the 1990s and has since become a bestseller.
