'Zero on Sea' was a huge in situ endeavour meant to take place at the Scheveningen Pier in 1966. Instead, an exhibition was held at Orez Gallery in The Hague in 1966 featuring models and sketches by the Gutai group, Fontana, Mack, Piene, Uecker, Hendrikse, Schoonhoven, Peeters, Klein, Kusama et al. Rare document with interviews, correspondence and reproductions of proposals. Text in Dutch, with Mack and Piene's proposals in German. Added is an invitation for the opening of the exhibition 'Zero Onuitgevoerd' at the Kunsthistorisch Instituut on April 24 1970. Wrapper with age wear, interior fine.
