Colour lithograph and relief printing on light cardboard, 50 x 50 cm. Signed and dated 'Uecker '65' in lower right corner. Early embossed print in which the artist combines coloured lithography and nail prints.
The lithograph was published in various colours, in an edition of 75. This is a yellow unnumbered version. Copy with traces of age, slightly creased and smudged. Provenance collection K. Schippers.
Günther Uecker (b. 1930) is a German artist and member of the ZERO movement best known for his signature use of nails arranged into tactile, sculptural paintings.
