Complete set of three avant-garde anthologies by Kalenderverlag, 1963 -1969

The volumes include: Kalender 63 – Pop Art. Do it Yourself; Kalender 65 – Happenings, U.S. Pop Art, Nouveau Réalisme etc. and Kalender 69 – E.A. (E.u.E.O.u.E.): electronic art. Hardcovers, 19 x 14 cm, 114/110/116 pp. All designed with glossy black board covers and a black linen spine, the interior has thick sheets printed in colour and b/w. The first 2 volumes appeared in an edition of 300, the third volume in an edition of 500. The publications are mainly image based, with sparse text. Verlag Kalender was run of Bernd Ebeling and Hansjoachim Dietrich in Dusseldorf and released important Fluxus publications in the 1960s.

Presents work by Diter Rot, Jim Dine, Roy Lichtenstein, Claes Oldenburg, Georg Segal, George Brecht, Wolf Vostell, Hans-Joachim Dietrich, Mimmo Rotella, and Nam June Paik. Binding partly loose, else very good. (2) Kalender 65 – Happenings, U.S. Pop Art, Nouveau Réalisme etc. Features works by Vostell, Beuys, Koepcke, Kaprow, Higgins, Paik, Williams, Brouwn, Schmit, Lichtenstein, Oldenburg, Dine, Segal, Warhol, Wesselmann, Indiana, Rosenquist, Johns, Rauschenberg, Tinguely, Klein, Arman, Christo, Cesar, Spoerri, Kienholz, Ramos, Rot, Gaul, Richter, and Dietrich. Spine loose and wear to linen strip. Interior fine. (3) Kalender 69 – E.A. (E.u.E.O.u.E.): electronic art. Electronic and electrical objects and environments, neon objects. Works by Nam June Paik, Wolf Vostell, Mauricio Kagel, Mario Merz, Markus Raetz, Hans-Joachim Dietrich, Bruce Nauman, Keith Sonnier, Richard Serra and Neil Jenney. Tiny sticker on first page, in good condition. Scarce set. (total 3)
