Multiple produced for Documenta 4 in an edition of 140 copies. Pink, blue, green and orange cotton, wood and string, approx. 128 x 100 cm. With applied rubber stamps 'Documenta IV Kassel 1968', signed and numbered in pen 'Michael Tyzack No.39/140'.
Michael Tyzack (1933-2007) was a British artist and jazz musician. He was a student of Lucian Freud and Vincent Pasmore, and became an important representative of contemporary abstract painting. Tyzack participated in the fourth Documenta with six geometric-abstract paintings, and the Kite multiple.
