Two group show catalogues for legendary international conceptual art exhibitions. (1) Op Losse Schroeven. Situaties en cryptostructuren. Amsterdam, Stedelijk Museum, 1969. Bound in two separate volumes in one ill. wrapper, 27.5 x 21.5 cm. Designed by Wim Crouwel. The exhibition was curated by Wim Beeren in Amsterdam, concurrent with 'When Attitudes Become Form' at Kunsthalle Bern. Texts by Beeren, Piero Gilardi and Harald Szeemann in Dutch and English. Artists include Anselmo, Dibbets, van Elk, Flanagan, Merz, Nauman, Panamarenko, Weiner, Beuys, Kounellis, Long, Oppenheim, Smithson et al. Cover with age spotting and some abrasions, interior fine.
(2) Sonsbeek 71. Sonsbeek buiten de perken, Part 1 & Part 2. Arnhem, Stichting Sonsbeek, 1971. Edited by Wim Beeren, Geert van Beijeren and Coosje Kapteyn, designed by Wim Crouwel. Softcover, 232 / 96 pp, text in Dutch and English. Contributions by Carl André, Vito Acconci, Donald Judd, Sol Lewitt, Bruce Nauman, Nam June Paik, Robert Smithson and many others. Fine copies. Added are 10 original b/w photos of exhibited works and installations, photographer unknown. Featured are Robert Smithson's project Broke Circle/ Spiral Hill executed in Emmen as part of Sonsbeek 71 and works by Claes Oldenburg, Tony Smith, Wim T. Schippers et al. (total 12)
