Contains an original lithograph, a publication and related ephemera issued for the same project. (1) Offset lithograph in four colours, 55.5 x 78.5 cm. Signed 'Lothar Baumgarten', numbered '14/80', and dated '83' in the lower margin of the image. Published by the Städtisches Museum Abteiberg, Mönchengladbach, as an annual edition on the occasion of the artist's exhibition. Three remnants of tape on verso upper margin, stunning near mint copy.

(2) Book, published by the Städtisches Museum in 1983 on occasion of the exhibition. Softcover, 24 x 17 cm, 157 pp. Numbered copy 172/600. Features an assembling of stories by North American Indian tribes focused on the symbol of the eagle, with epilogue by Johannes Cladders, designed by Walter Nikkels and Lothar Baumgarten. Text in German and English. Light toning on cover, else very good. (3-4) The invitation card for the show and the promotional leaflet for the 'Jahresgaben 1983', part of the museum's annual editions.
