Illustrated with a total of 80 engr. plates after Eisen as well as numerous engraved head- and tailpieces. Cont. unif. red mor., all sides w. triple gilt fillet borders and corner fleurons, gilt edges of covers and inside dentelles, gilt and ribbed spines, a.e.g. Occas. spotting and browning, a few lvs somewhat foxed. Spine of vol. I w. tiny chip, one outer corner sl. bumped. A near fine, attractively bound copy.
